Data Death and Ressurection

Gizmodo.com wrote up a pretty informative post on how data dies and how it can be saved. Digital rot, as they explain it, is the death of either hardware, network, or format. Their “Pulling the Plug” section struck a particular chord with me. Anyone remember Seeqpod.com, the pre-Grooveshark streaming music service that switched gears over a year ago?
